Every Wednesday in Paso Robles, Wondershop runs hands-on, screen-free homeschool classes for K-12 students — grouped by grade level, with a brand-new theme each month. No worksheets, no screens, just real projects and real learning.

September 2026 (5 weeks)

Game Makers

Design your own game! Younger students will focus on simple games that involve movement, while older students get creative and build their very own board game. Families are invited on the 5th week to our “game day”–come and play! 

October 2026 (4 weeks)

Community Builders

You’re never too young to make a difference! In this Wondershop, we’ll work together to assemble prefab furniture for people in our community. We’ll learn how to read instructions (even poorly written ones) and build something we can be proud of.

november 2026 (2 weeks)

Repair Lab

Fix it, mend it! Younger students will focus on simple repairs (like taping a torn book), while older students work on more complex repairs. Students are encouraged to bring items from home that need repairs–books, missing buttons, torn clothing, broken ceramics, etc. 

December 2026 (3 weeks)

Engineering Challenge

Work in small teams to build tall (noodle and marshmallow) towers, strong bridges, and solve engineering problems. Challenges increase based on age group, pushing the limits of our oldest students’ creativity and critical thinking skills!

January 2027 (3 weeks)

Dollars & Decisions

Step into real-world financial scenarios! Younger students will focus on money value through creative play, while older students take on a persona to learn about budget management, tracking expenses, and even completing simple tax forms.

February 2027 (4 weeks)

Road Trip Ready

Who’s ready for a vacation? Younger students will be introduced to map reading, suitcase packing, and the adventure of travel. Older students will plan out their dream trip, learn how to calculate miles per gallon, and design games to play on the road!

March 2027 (4 weeks)

Garden Growers

A little dirt never hurt! Younger students will grow their own seedlings while older students learn skills that will help them in their own garden–things like how to design their own garden and even assemble drip irrigation.

April 2027 (4 weeks)

Theme Park Design

Become a theme park designer! Students will create a ride or attraction while learning about the art of storytelling, color theory, and other design elements. Younger students will focus on imaginative construction with objects, while older students draft detailed plans.

Junk to Genius

Some of the best things are invented when we’re forced to become creative. We’ll use repurposed materials to create games, art, and other useful items.
